Its rocky seabed, vertical walls, and excellent biodiversity make it an ideal destination for both recreational and more advanced divers. Its proximity to the Punta de la Mona It allows you to enjoy some of the best diving spots in the Andalusian Mediterranean.

Piedra de la Higuera is a well-balanced and comprehensive dive, ideal for Open Water divers looking to progress and for advanced divers seeking abundant marine life. The seabed is composed of large rocks with crevices and hollows that provide refuge for numerous species. Large schools of fish and rock-dwelling fauna are common, making it a very dynamic and varied dive.

Recommended level: Open Water / Advanced

Difficulty: Easy – Medium

Depth: From 17 to 28

Featured marine life: Nudibranchs, octopuses, conger eels, hake, moray eels, large schools of fish, lemonfish, mosaic rays and sunfish.

Roqueo de los 14 is a perfect dive site for Open Water divers and those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable dive. Its shallow depth allows for long bottom times and detailed observation of marine life. It's ideal for courses, relaxed dives, and underwater photography, thanks to the wide variety of species and excellent natural lighting.

Recommended level: Open Water

Difficulty: Easy

Depth: From 8 a.m. to 14 p.m.

Featured marine life: Gallinitas, viejas, pulpos, nudibranchios, salpas, electrbladeras, pescados rat y grandes sábadas de sardinas.

CAVE OF THE VIRGIN

The Cave of the Virgin is an accessible and very attractive dive site at Punta de la Mona. It combines wall sections, hollows, and an iconic cave teeming with life, where you can observe corals, sponges, and typical Mediterranean fauna. Ideal for Open Water and advanced divers who want to explore a varied and colorful underwater environment.

Recommended level: Open Water / Advanced

Difficulty: Easy – Medium

Depth:From 10 am to 18 pm

Featured marine life: Kingfishers, hake, nudibranchs, octopuses, groupers, conger eels and schools of bogue and salema.

the berengueles

Los Berengueles is one of the most accessible and attractive dive sites in the Marina del Este inlet. Perfect for shore dives, the dive follows a gentle profile over a rocky bottom that transitions to sand, where small hollows and caves teem with diverse marine life. As you progress south with the rocky wall on one side, the depth gradually increases to a maximum of about 18 meters, making the dive suitable for different certification levels. It's an ideal route for those seeking a peaceful dive among colorful nudibranchs, typical Mediterranean fish, and rock formations with numerous crevices and hiding places.

Recommended level: Open Water 

Difficulty: Easy – Ideal for inexperienced divers

Depth: From 5 m to ~18 m

Featured marine life: Stingrays and sea eagles, thrushes and wrasses, gobies, blennies, various nudibranchs, sponges and invertebrates, small groupers and octopuses.

Punta de la Mona is one of the most spectacular dive sites in Marina del Este and the entire area. It stands out for its walls covered in candelabra coral and the abundance of marine life it supports. The dive can be adapted to different levels, from recreational routes to deeper dives for advanced divers. It's a must-do dive for those seeking stunning underwater landscapes and encounters with larger marine life.

This dive is only carried out if our instructors consider the weather conditions to be safe and suitable.

Recommended level: Open Water / Advanced

Difficulty: Easy – Medium – Difficult (depending on depth and profile)

Depth: From 18 to 48 meters

Featured marine life: Candelabra coral, dentex, large schools of sardines and bogue, lemonfish, nudibranchs, orange false coral and pelagic fauna such as eagle rays or Cool cool sometimes.
