INTENSIVE POSIDONIA OCEANICA COURSE

A course dedicated to understanding the ecological importance of grasslands Posidonia oceanica and the species that inhabit them. Their biology, associated organisms, and conservation challenges will be studied. A comprehensive look at one of the Mediterranean's key ecosystems.
– Introduction to Posidonia oceanica as a flowering plant and its formation of meadows.
– Other types of flowering plants that form meadows in the Mediterranean.
– Temporary as the end of the cycle.
– Life among the leaves.
– Monograph on the Queen of the Prairie: Pinna nobilis.
– Life on the leaves.
– Monograph on the green goblin: Opeatogenys gracilis.
– Conservation of flowering plant meadows.
Duration: 5-6 hours with a 30-minute break. (I'll let you know how we can schedule the sessions.)
Exam: A short quiz to reinforce what you've learned.
Literature: A variety of specialized books will be available for consultation.
